Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare Named Recipient of National Quality Award
Greenbriar Terrace has been named a recipient of the 2010 Silver Quality Award. The AHCA Quality Award is modeled after criteria from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation’s premier recognition for quality achievement. The AHCA award recognizes commitment to a continuous quality improvement process. The facilities selected have made customer satisfaction and quality outcomes their top priority.
Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare Named Recipient of Excellence in Action Award
My InnerView's Excellence In Action award honors those nursing homes that achieve high levels of excellence in overall facility quality as demonstrated through receiving an AHCA Quality Award or by having overall resident and family satisfaction levels fall within the top 10% of My InnerView's customer database. As a recipient of the award, these facilities join the elite ranks of only 380 nursing homes that received the award in 2007.
To be eligible for the award, nursing facilities must be a member of My InnerView and participate in at least one survey cycle of residents and families throughout the year.

Greenbriar Terrace Director of Nursing Services and Executive Director Win Coveted Awards
Betty Barowski, Director of Nursing Services at Greenbriar Terrace, was awarded Kindred Healthcare’s Director of Nursing Services of the Year. Kindred Healthcare currently operates over 250 nursing home and Betty was chosen as the best of all the Director of Nursing Services for the company! Betty also received awards for Director of Nursing of the Year for the district and region!
At Greenbriar Terrace as a nurse since 1977, Betty has been the Director of Nursing Services since 2000 and oversees clinical services for 300 residents and over 200 staff members.
Executive Director John Getts said, "We are extremely fortunate to have a nurse leader with such knowledge, commitment and compassion for others. Her leadership positively impacts the lives of hundreds of patients each day."
John has been the administrator at Greenbriar since 1999 and has over 20 years experience in the long- term care industry. John was awarded Executive Director of the Year for the Northern New England District. John oversees operations at Greenbriar and also manages two other New Hampshire facilities.
Betty and John were awarded these honors at Kindred Healthcare’s Regional Meeting on March 7, in Newport, RI. The award was chosen by the District and Regional Management Team. Greenbriar Terrace is very fortunate to have such an exceptional leadership team.
