Opened in 1963, Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Greenbriar is located right off exit 4 from Route 3 and offers 300 beds, over 20 rehabilitation therapists, and over 80 employees with more than 10 years of service. We offer specialty programs in the areas of orthopedics, wound management, complex medical care, and Alzheimer’s and dementia specialized rehabilitation. At Greenbriar, we have WiFi connectivity and complimentary laptops available for use, personal laundry service, shopping assistance, and meal service.

Gate City Rehab at Greenbriar Terrace

Gate City Rehab is Greenbriar’s short-term rehabilitation center. Here, we are dedicated solely to patients requiring our services for a very limited amount of time, such as those who have had a recent stroke, fracture, health condition, surgery, infection or other medically complex condition.

At Gate City Rehab, we offer a transitional room for family members to stay over a night or two prior to the patient being discharged home (when appropriate), a spa program, educational resource room, and have computers available.
